Sound Asleep EP , also known as Whisper EP , is the second extended play (EP) released by Evanescence . Originally recorded with assistance from Bigwig Enterprises and sold at a show in August 1999, it is an unlabeled CD-R in an unmarked translucent case, sometimes found signed by Amy Lee and Ben Moody. It is considered rare, as only fifty copies were made.
This is supposedly the last place that the band will release "Understanding" in any version.
